TrendONE and the BVDW Task Force Virtualisation invite you to our second VIRTUAL THINK TANK on the 13th of February from 10am to 4pm at TrendONE Office Berlin at Oranienburger Straße 16.
The Key-Topic will be: FILM 3.0 = FILM/GAMING-CONVERGENCE
The entertainment-industry is changing. Especially film and gaming are melting. Is this ongoing process just a hype or will the convergence of two mega-sectors become a lasting trend, concerning both, future movies and games?
Based on the output of our first VIRTUAL THINK TANK in December 2007 we would like to discuss the way, Film/Gaming-Convergence in 2012 could look like.
Here are some more key questions for our event:
- Which role do new technologies play when talking about the melting of film and gaming industry?
- Which influence does the convergence have on the value-chain of both sectors?
- How can new business models look like, and how can film and gaming industry benefit from each other.
The aim of our THINK TANK is to develop future scenarios for both sectors.
[bearbeiten] Short Agenda:
We will start at 10am with four keynotes (10 to 15 minutes each). Film- and gaming-experts will talk about the economical and technical changings, initiated by the melting of both sectors.
After the lunch break we will start a hosted creative session at 1pm. In this session we will talk about Film/Gaming-Convergence in 2012 and sum up the output afterwards.
The event is limited to 12 participants.
